The NWPA Disaster Response Group is a joint project of EMMCO West, Inc. and NWPAERG [Northwestern Pennsylvania Emergency Response Group]. It is funded through grants provided by the PA Department of Health, Office of Public Health Preparedness, and serves Erie, Crawford, Forest, Warren and Venango Counties; plus Clarion and Mercer.

EMMCO West, Region 18, EMS Stike Team is a member of 150 statewide EMS system assets. The EMS Strike Team consists of EMS Agencies, Resources, and EMS Providers that have received additional training and credentialling to respond to intra-region, intra-state, or inter-state responses to areas in which there is a need of EMS system surge support.
