If you have heard of Google Alerts yet below is the link to the web page. It does a very good job of listing public safety alerts.

The emergency alerts can be observed by going to google.org/publicalerts and checking out the existing situations that the general public should be aware of. Various alerts are now available in the U.S. but also in other regions of the world and they should help travelers properly plan their trips and driving routes to avoid any dangerous situations.

A member of the Cyber Terrorism committee, Cpl. Dana Stewart, has been nominated as police officer of the month at http://www.eriealert.com . Dana has been the driving force to revive the 3-on-3 basketball tournament in the City of Erie. As we all know, the city is currently experiencing a high level of youth violence. The 3 on 3 tournament is designed to keep youths focused on preparing, practicing and playing the sport to fill their idle hours.
Dana is certainly a deserving officer. You can vote up to five times from a single IP address. Lets show him our support.

Cyber Terrorism Speaking Engagements

Chief Detective Larry Dombrowsky will be speaking on cyber security tomorrow at the annual Erie County Drug & Alcohol seminar at East High School. The Topic is "Cyber Security - Who's Watching You?" the times are 1045-1145 and 1330-1430. Next week on the 21st, He will be speaking to the kids at the PSP Camp Cadet at Mercyhurst North East from 0830-1030 on the same subject.
